SMITH STOCKLEY ROWING CLUB
Our second project with Paul came in the form of designing a professional-looking representation of the historic Smith Stockley Rowing Club. Paul was seeking a classic/stoic design that did justice to the team that is a member of the Royal St. John's Regatta, dating back over 200 years.
The macon-style rowing oar that is commonly used in the regatta as the focus of the emblem. A shield and oar motif represents the powerful/stoic identity of the Smith Stockley Rowing Club. By utilizing a serif typeface, we also achieve a more classic look. Paul and his team are proud to row with the new logo on their team uniforms and we are honored to have been a part of this historic rowing club.
I can't say enough good things about Kurt.
We had a last-minute need for a logo for our rowing team. After contacting Kurt on a Friday, he jumped right on board with wholehearted enthusiasm and a sincere, real interest in helping us.
Not only did Kurt translate everything we wanted into a professional, stylish logo that will help best represent our team, he did it with exceptional communication, outstanding quality, thoughtful + strategic design brand identity, and days ahead of schedule (working through the weekend to complete).
In the end, not only did I love his work, so did my team - another testament to the outstanding quality and professionalism of his work.
